Pathway to Purpose

Are you on your pathway to purpose? Just as the Chiefs and Eagles didn’t arrive at the Super Bowl overnight, our spiritual journey is not defined by isolated victories but by years of preparation, discipline, and most importantly—sacrifice.

Paul reminds us in Romans 12:1 to present our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God. Sacrifice is not an optional part of the Christian walk—it is the very foundation of our calling.

When we recognize all that God has done, holding back from Him is no longer an option. Sacrifice is not a loss; it is a joyful response to His grace.

Paul calls us to be living sacrifices—offering ourselves fully to God every day. Unlike Old Testament sacrifices, which were one-time offerings, our surrender is ongoing. Jesus Himself taught this principle:

“If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” (Luke 9:23).

A true sacrifice is:

• Total Surrender – Every part of our lives belongs to God.

• Ongoing – Sacrifice is a daily decision.

• Holy and Acceptable – True surrender aligns with God’s purpose.

Every movement of God in history began with someone laying something down:

• Moses gave up Egypt’s riches to lead Israel.

• Esther risked her life to save her people.

• Paul sacrificed status and comfort for the Gospel.

• Jesus laid down His life for our salvation.

Sacrifice transforms lives. Nehemiah’s obedience led to a restored city. The apostles’ sacrifice spread the Gospel across the world. And Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice redeemed humanity.

The true power of sacrifice is seeing it transferred to others. When someone lays it ALL out in a workout, teammates notice. There is a spirit that transfers and motivates others to do the same for the good of the team.

God’s plan for your life may require stepping out of your comfort zone. He may be calling you to let go of habits, relationships, or ambitions that hinder your walk with Him. But take heart—whatever you surrender, God will bless abundantly.

“Whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.” (Matthew 16:25)

Will we lay down our lives for His purpose? The greatest rewards come when we surrender fully to God’s plan. Sacrifice is not about what we give up—it’s about what we gain in Christ.

God Bless you on your Pathway to Purpose!
