Secrets of the Unseen

A glance at a friend when walking by reveals little, if anything, about what’s going on inside that person.  We all have our secrets that remain unseen by those around us.  We have a propensity to camouflage our deepest fears, anxieties, heartaches, disappointments, and more, with little expression on our faces, or smiles, or even laughter.

Perhaps you have Secrets of the Unseen.  You may have performed poorly on an exam. There’s something you really don’t like about yourself. Emotional pain has hit hard with you. Has anxiety wrapped its bony fingers around you and kept you awake at night?

If so, then you need a Power Team.  And, it only takes two for this team. We usually associate teams with larger numbers.  But, listen to this:  “Truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.  For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:18-20.

If you are keeping the kinds of things that have been mentioned inside of you, how is that going for you?  Find a brother or a sister in Christ with whom you can share these things in prayer.  Find someone you can trust, someone who will pray for you and you for them.

Form your Power Team!  It’s not an easy thing.  You will not want to readily share those things.  But, God will lead you to the right person. You may not think you need this but you need to do this.

Let’s pray: “Father, you are the same God today and the same God tomorrow. Help us see the victory that you already see.  Let our faith be today what it will be tomorrow when we’ve seen the victory you already see.”*  Jesus, lead us to someone with whom we can share the secrets of the unseen so that when we find reasons to hide the deeper things within us, we have someone to listen and to  agree with us in prayer.

Keep Seeking after Him!
